My mother was cleaning out her dresser and found this. It must have been c. 1984-1988. I would have been en route to MBJ because that's where my grandfather lived and we spent Christmas with him every year. I would guess that BA263 flew LHR-NAS-MBJ. Or... that it was the best we could get and then took JM on to MBJ.

I just updated my LinkedIn profile so as 2014 comes to close I am thrilled to share that I'm moving to an exciting new role at Google. Starting in January I'll be leading newly formed Global Operations team for Android and Chrome.

The team is based in Mountain View, New York, Boston, Austin and London and works with companies, governments, schools and universities to make sure they are successful with Android Work, Chrome OS and Chrome browser as well as Google Play for Education and Google Apps for Education.

I'm sad to leave the absolutely incredible team we've built on Apps, Maps and Search but really excited to be working with some amazing new teammates on really exciting products.

Does anyone have Hue bulbs and do you like / love / hate them? I have one data point but looking for more.

Sadly their website sucks.

Wow indeed. Wonderful and tranquil spot with attentive staff and great food. You'll be taken care of at Ka'ana and you'll love their "little touches" like the evening treats left in your room and homemade shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom.

Horribly rude hostess. Shameful. If you give me a reservation you should honor the time and be apologetic if you're running late.

Great experience with Dr. Richter. I had a tiny, tiny shard of glass buried in the ball of my foot. He saw me on short notice, removed the glass and bandaged me up. It was causing me a lot of pain. Dr. Richter runs a nice little practice, is friendly and communicates well.

I've been to Race Lane a few times in the last year and it's generally very good. They have an interesting menu and friendly service. I went this past weekend with my mother. I had the Halibut and she had the Salmon. She asked for it MR and it it came out ultra well done - completely dry. We sent it back and had to wait a good 12 to 15 mins for the replacement to come. So we didn't really eat dinner together. She sat with me while I ate; I sat with her while she ate. They did give us a complimentary desert but I would have preferred it if they had brought us both our meals at the same time. I'll go back but this kind of service is a watchpoint.

Awesome place to visit. Probably the best in the Hamptons. Knowledgable, friendly, passionate owners and employees who want to help. Great store location and selection.
