  • Letters From Nowhere:Mystery
This is a great B & B! We had a huge room with a very comfortable bed. While you may want the 250 year old hardwood floors, they have to stay where they are. We had the use of the room next to ours which is also where breakfast is served. While there is an assortment of yogurt, cereals, jams, breads, etc., I absolutely loved the croissants! There are paths for walking, a canal within minutes to watch narrow boats move (and use the locks). The proprietors are wonderful. Would strongly recommend this as a place to destress and to enjoy life.

Very hospitable and attentive staff and had very good meals; a delicious bacon carbonara (not sure of spelling) and the next day spaghetti with bolognese (?) sauce.

Lovely historic Inn in Lunenburg, a World Heritage site. Room was very comfortable and had a great nights sleep each day we were there. The breakfast was quite extensive including smoked salmon, capers and cream cheese on bagels. I will say that the shower was a little small but I am a pretty big fellow. Lots of things to see and do. If you like fresh scallops keep in mind that ships go to Adam and Knickels on the waterfront and from there down the block or so to your restaurant.

Can easily see why this location is so highly rated. Very comfortable room and amenities. Staff are engaging, helpful and attentive. Excellent location to drive to any location in the area...and there are a lot of things to do and see! Will certainly stay here again!

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Neighborhood is dynamic and engaging. Both times we have stayed at the George we have met another couple at one of the local establishments and wound up talking the whole evening through. Location is in close proximity with Russel Square for public transportation, close to the British Museum and British Library (walking distance) and to train stations for travel elsewhere in Britain or to Europe. Would give 3 1/2 stars.
