We had a wonderful experience eating at Carnegie's! We've lived in Greenfield for a year before we found this lovely restaurant. The location is small, so it's an intimate dinner and the staff is very attentive. Our server was well education on each of the dishes and was able to easily recommend great entrees with a little information on our taste preferences. Everything we had was delicious (especially the Bell Pepper Soup)! The prices are a little high for a normal night out, but we will definitely frequent in the future for special occasions.

I felt the food was overpriced for what you got. Nothing particularly special or eventfull about the food or the decore

SO delicious! And I love that they use fresh ingredients from their garden.

The restuarant is in the old Carnige library and is very historical. The food was very good (especially the red pepper soup) and the atmosphere is very romantic. The service was good and the food came in a timely manor. Great place for a nice romantic dinner.

Great food from mid $20s, Chef trained in Europe, for example my string beans were to die for, and the Cedar Plank Samon had great flavor. Wide selection of beer, wine. In basement of old Greenfield Public Lubrary that Andrew Carnegie built. Decor, piano. Great date spot. White table cloth type place, not really for kids. Limited menu but entrees are 5 star. Not a chain. Eat slow and relax with drink and chat with friends here.

This is what a local restaurant should be. Everything is made from scratch. Many of the herbs and vegetables are grown the garden behind the restaurant.
