We went on a weekday in late August, with temperatures in the mid-80's. Everything was VERY clean, staff was friendly and helpful, facilities were well-maintained and good order, even at the end of the season. Also, we were amazed by the clarity of the lake and the variety of wildlife in it - fish, herons, even swimming turtles!! The water seemed very clean, and I'm quite sure you wouldn't have so much living in and near it if the water wasn't in quite pristine condition. The entrance fee is maybe a bit high - but the park is much closer to us than the Shore, and offers more than the Shore for little kids, especially considering all of the water play equipment for the younger kids. We were prepared to shell out money for the slides, but it turns out there was plenty to do all day without even venturing onto the slides. We saved those for next time. Food was your typical amusement park fair - $2.50 cheeseburgers, $2 hamburgers, french fries, popcorn, etc. Apparently, they keep the menu even smaller on cool days in late August, as a few menu items weren't prepared. It's fine - we didn't go there for the food. They do have a fairly extensive ice cream selection. I think the beer garden was closed all day. Place was uncrowded and very clean. We loved it and would gladly go back. We'd probably do so on a weekday and somewhat cooler day, just to keep things pleasant and uncrowded.

I have been going here ever since I was a kid and I, and all of my friends and family, have always loved it. Although some things there are a bit expensive, I think they have quality food, slides, and staff. It's pointless to negatively compare Lake Tomahawk to something big like Six Flags since this is a much smaller, family- owned water park. Honestly if your're looking for a fun-filled day of laughs and smiles with the family, go here.

I've read a lot of reviews and many of them have been negative. I've been going her for the past 3 years and have loved it! The list of things that you cannot do I guess is annoying but it wasn't a huge deal. I didn't even think it was a bad thing until I read the reviews. Also the prices were not terrible. The price of the wrist bands for the water slides range from $12-15 depending on your age and the day that you go. I don't think this price is that expensive for unlimited water slides. And the admission ranges from $11-$14 depending on your age and the day that you go. I thought the water slides were a lot of fun and the lake was clean and fun. The place was crowded but I mean, they can't really help that. I guess that means their business is doing great! And if you go on a weekend, you have to expect that. The lake was more crowded than the water slides and the lines for the water slides were all relatively short and the longest I had to wait for a slide was probably around 10 minutes. I actually like it better than the really big, well known water parks. The reason I did not give is 5 stars is because of the staff. For the most part, all the lifeguards were rude and very unhelpful. As soon as you hit the water they scream "GET OUT OF THE TUBE!" It's like, I know I have to get out of the tube..thanks for all your help. You actually have to give me a second to get off the tube. I understand they want to keep the line moving but their is no need to be mean about it. Also, I saw someone having trouble getting out of the tube and swimming back to the doc and the life guard didn't even flinch. Her husband had to help her out of the water and you could tell they were really struggling and the lifeguard did not even ask if they were okay or get out of his chair. So you have to be a very good swimmer because you cannot expect the lifeguards to help. And I did not see any alcohol or drunk people any time I went! This is a very family friendly area. Everyone who is there is with they're family. There is always babies, toddlers, teenagers, etc., because it is fun for everyone. I would recommend people to go here if they like having fun, eating great food, and doing all of this for a reasonable price 😄

I went during the summer time. Kids had such great time. Little expensive, but no complaints. I just wish they keep it clean and nice in the future as well. So, we could continue our visit every summer.

It wasn't that great. Water was dirty and the lifeguards were rude for the most part. Everything is expensive and it was totally packed. You could barely breathe without breathing in someone's carbon dioxide. Went there today feeling fine, came out of the water with my stomach hurting badly. I accidentally swallowed some of that dirty lake water which by the way smells like dead fish. My younger sibling splashed some water and it landed on the lifeguard for the kids side... He yelled at him and told him he was going to call security on him. What kind of treatment is that? He's an 11 year old boy.
