Shaw's is two restaurants in one – a jazzy, sophisticated, seafood restaurant and a carefree, lively oyster bar. Both serve top-grade fish and shellfish, varieties of oysters, and sushi and sashimi.

Very impressive place. Service was stellar, food was great, and ambience was very cool. We started with a variety of oysters that our server took a lot of time to help us decide on. For dinner I had a combo of stone crab and filet that was perfect. Certainly not cheap, but the room has a great old-school vibe and we were happy with our choice!

Best seafood you're going to find in the Midwest. There are 2 sides to this Shaw's. There is a formal dining side where you go to impress a date. Make reservations or wait at the cocktail bar. The cocktails are incredible and you're not going to find a better Manhattan or Martini honestly. Hopefully the first few dates go well and you begin to loosen up on formalities. Now you can enjoy the oyster bar side! Live Jazz a few nights week, and the music is pretty good! Oyster happy hour on Sat maybe? Order a drink and some oysters and watch them shuck away. The king crab salad (the one that's like $20) is awesome!! The sushi and raw entrees are really good. You're not going to find anything bad on the menu. The staff here go above and beyond. Everyone's been very friendly and professional. I've been undecided and went with my waitresses recommendation and was happy. Bottom line this is top notch quality seafood and though it may seem pricey remember this place sets the bar as far as fish and seafood goes. If I want cheap I go to Red Lobster and eat snow crab legs. If I want the best oysters and king crab legs around I go to Shaw's.

Fantastic. Crab legs, scallops, crab cake, creme brulle, brussel sprouts, mushroom cobler. All top notch. The Ten and tonic could of been more boozy. Wait staff was helpful with menu, attentive, but not to a fault.

Great every time. Love how they cut open the king crab legs. Brunch buffet is the BEST I've ever had. All you can eat crab legs, oysters, sushi, fried shrimp, and your regular waffles, hash browns, potatoes, etc. Many selections of good desserts too!

Great service with extreme attention to detail. Steak was cooked well, and seafood was tasted excellent. Very knowledgeable waiters and waitresses who have excellent understanding of the entire menu front to back. Great for a dinner.

Went to Shaws for half priced oysters that were amazingly fresh. Great service at the bar. Looking forward to going back.

Great food but overpriced and too crowded. Happy hour oysters are a good deal and service is good but a long wait and high prices make it only so so. I would still recommend it as the atmosphere is great and food is to die for but try to go early for start of Happy hour special before crowd gets there. Worth a visit for food quality alone, but be prepared for crowds.

Awesome place for food and entertainment! Our 9 year old loves it as well. There are two separate restaurants and we go to the loud side; we've dined on the quieter side, which is very nice and very proper, but we usually have a big group that talks quite a lot so we go to the more relaxed side. The food is ALWAYS top notch! Love it and can't wait to go in April!!
