Study Jams are community-organized study groups around Google online developer courses. The goal is to support as many students as possible in completing the course, thereby raising the technical level of the community.     Register @ https://goo.gl/Ka6gjk

We’ll discuss topics like; building world-class usable apps, succeeding in the Google Play Store, and effective ways of reaching users and encouraging them to engage with your business. We’ll also cover resources available to developers to educate and empower you to build quality apps.
 

This event will be held from 9 AM -2 PM on Thursday 19th November 2015 in Accra, Ghana.

On Day 1, we shall delve into Android development using Material Design for the morning and afternoon sessions. The evening session will be a hackathon/competition based on the topics/areas explored in the morning.

Day 2, an introduction to the Google Launchpad Program, UX Labs,  a recap on I/O and demo sessions.

Introduction
Google Developer Group (GDG) Ghana is a vibrant community of Ghanaian technologists and enthusiasts that actively employ Google technologies for work and pleasure.

We believe that technology is an important key to development in the country and in Africa, and our focus is building local capacity to make that happen.

We play a lead role in the Vim Series, a weekly Thursday technology talk series held in Accra.
