Four generations of children have grown up at SOS Children’s Villages of India and have paved their own path of success. They found their reasons to smile at #SOS. We aim at providing more children reasons to smile. #50YearsofSOS

It is with great pride, that we congratulate the Nobel laureates Kailash Satyarthi & Malala Yousafzai. They have been instrumental in initiatives that work towards educating children and protecting their rights.
It is not just the recognition of their efforts; but also for the cause of educating & supporting children worldwide. Our heartiest congratulations go to both of them. Here is SOS Children's Villages International CEO, Richard Pichler, congratulating the #NobelPrize winners. #NoblePeacePrize

The state of Jammu & Kashmir has seen, perhaps, the worst natural catastrophe in the past decade. The recent floods have claimed hundreds of lives and thousands of people have been rendered homeless.
There has been temporary displacement of both the SOS youth from the youth houses and of several families under the SOS Family Strengthening Programme which runs in the community.
This is a difficult time for us and we would need your support in intensifying our response in supporting communities for health, nutrition and livelihood related needs. The recovery and normalization of life will take much longer time for Jammu and Kashmir, however, every bit of your help will help us rebuild precious lives.

Come forward and do your bit: http://www.soschildrensvillages.in/news/latest-news/jammu-kashmir-restrengthening

George Bernard Shaw rightly said that “A happy family is but an earlier heaven”.
It has been 50 years that SOS Children’s Villages of India has been nurturing family values in India by focusing on providing family based care to SOS children. By bringing them up in a close knit community, the aim is to inculcate family values in them. #50YearsOfSOS

Vikram Sharma, MD & CEO for Kobelco Construction Equipment India Pvt Ltd, is one of our SOS sponsors and a proud supporter of #My3rdChild. This is what he said-
“I am immensely satisfied in seeing the way once parentless children are growing at SOS Children's Villages of India. The 3rd child initiative gives the same opportunity to you for deriving immense satisfaction in supporting a child's future”.

HDS Malhotra, Chairman - Goodearth Foundation has placed his faith in our #My3rdChild initiative. And this is what he sent across to us! We are so glad to have him onboard
Read on to know what he said!
I proudly support SOS' My 3rd child initiative. This initiative not only questions the age old belief of a family of four, but also urges people to come forward and take part in shaping a parentless child's future. I wish them all the best with this initiative.
