Transcendence: Acceptance Of Suffering Exercise

This small exercise is something I thought up and tried myself and it felt great. It works so I would like to pass that on to anyone here who may need it. It's very simple but effective.

The Reality of Suffering

While the Dalai Lama teaches that freedom from suffering is possible, we all must begin by accepting suffering as a natural fact of human existence and fearlessly facing our problems.

While observing that suffering is part of life and acknowledging our natural aversion to life's troubles, the Dalai Lama observes that people avoid recognizing the reality of suffering as a natural aspect of existence.

While you can not avoid or even lessen the sufferings of life, you can prepare yourself mentally. By reflecting on the natural occurrence of suffering all around you — the types of suffering that we are subject to — you are better able to confront and manage the troubles you will inevitably face. - http://learning.dalailamafoundation.org/101/ethics4.htm

CPP Disability Social Assistance Took $3,711.79 Retro Pay

Yes I did receive the retro pay from the Canadian Pension Plan Disability Program but our social assistance took it all away because hey said that was money that I would have earned during the months that I was on assistance and they calculate that as an over payment. So the poor stay poor.

However, I thank each and every one of you tax payers in my region for paying taxes and helping me out in my time of need as I am sure most people in my situation are grateful as well. Keep in my we are tax payers too and have probably been of service to disabled people as well as people who are living on assistance regardless if they deserved it or not.

Emotional Eating My Part 2 Method Only (Shorter Version)

A simple method which I came up with that helps to delve into our past and heal our emotional pain. What we do is recognize the recognize the patterns of emotions and thoughts which are tied into triggering events. We go back until we find the root event emotions related to it then without any further judgement about it, we forgive any parties involved including ourselves for allowing us to compound the thoughts and emotions throughout life. Ideally we perform this method after experiencing these emotions and thoughts that compel us to want to over indulge in emotional eating. Foods that make you feel good.

Ideally this method will heal the past and lessen the likelyhood of you feeling the need to turn to food to replenish your lost energy stolen by your emotions and mental anguish.

Emotional Eating

Emotional eating means turning to food for comfort -- not because you're hungry. That bag of potato chips and those chocolate chip cookies may provide short-term relief when you're feeling bored, lonely, anxious, frustrated, depressed, angry, or stressed.

There are many paths to healing your past pain and I give just one method in this video that I have used to uproot the most painful of emotional experiences I have experienced as a kid that I believe was the start of my emotional eating habits.

As the years went on I compounded the negative thoughts and made things worse by repeating what my parents said. Every time an event in my life triggered these emotions I repeated the negative words such as, I am useless, stupid, a fat disgusting slob etc..

But I have discovered a method which I speak of in this video which you will discover for yourself and I think you will like it or at the very least accept it as a viable method that you might want to give a whirl.

Emotional eating I believe can be considered a disorder and in my opinion based on my experience the best way to fix the issue is to dig out the roots from the first experience and learn to forgive and accept. You can do this.
