If you like sweet frosting, this is not the place for you. If you like friendly service, this is not the place for you. I tried these from an offer for a dozen cupcakes for half off. What a deal! I was so excited! Until I tried them. I only like one - the chocolate one with the white frosting. The rest of them had this frosting that tasted like unsweetened butter, with a hint of whatever the cupcake flavor. I went back (since it is a stone's throw from where I live) hoping to buy a cupcake or two with the frosting I liked. I told the person working there that there were two kinds of frosting, one I liked and one I did not and asked if I could try a little bit of one kind - and then I would know. She told me NO, they do not give samples. I will not return. Icing on the cupcake is so much better.

They are wonderful. If you are looking for betty crocker, moist cupcakes, go by the box, there is a science to it that make the chemically "perfect". You can tell these are quality made with quality ingredients. They aren't too sweet, they're dense and not extremely moist (in a good way) The frosting fits each cupcake perfectly. They have done a great job, all 5 of us that went agreed.

I consider myself somewhat of a cupcake connoisseur! Some people appreciate beer, others wine. I appreciate a well-made cupcake! Ester's cupcakes are moist and very delicious. To date I have tasted all their flavors and I would recommend them all.

Love their cupcakes, one of the best vanilla bean cupcakes I've had. I'm a chocoholic, so choosing vanilla over chocolate means it is really good. I've had several other flavors and all yummy. Too bad they moved to Roseville.

My favorite cupcakes! Strawberry and chocolate are my two favorite flavors. Always dense and moist and really flavorfull yet still light. Very hip little place, staff could be friendlier. By far the best in the area and I am always craving them. Good thing my parents live across the street.

Yummy! I bought a dozen, each a different flavor. The coconut was beyond AMAZING, but the german chocolate fell short. The cupcake was a little dry, however I believe it was a fluke because the rest were deliciously moist. Parking was a hassle but worth it.

The cupcakes get 1 star for being pretty, but that's the best I can do! We purchased Strawberry, Coconut, Peanut Butter, Chocolate and Vanilla. All of the cupcakes were dry, I think a betty crocker cake mix has more flavor and texture. The frosting was grainy, and oily at the same time, which is obviously not an appealing texture. The cupcakes were mostly tasteless, and we will not be returning. We spent $16.00 on 6 cupcakes (we bought 2 of the strawberry cupcakes) and threw them all away after 1 to 2 small bites. Terrible.
