Frustrated that you're no further with your business goals today than you were a month ago? Here's how to change that in a way that makes sense based off some great advice from James Clear and Todd Herman.

Interesting article about saving some cash this winter, and a side note about business growth in 2015. Do you want to grow? Can you handle it? Two important questions to answer...

Interesting article here about the 6 times when being frugal doesn't pay. The article breaks them down as:

Life Insurance
Healthy eating
Retirement
Gifts for others
Toilet paper
Car maintenance

The one thing I've learned about life is you certainly get what you pay for (outside of mall clothing stores, that is. I'll pass on the $60 t-shirt Abercrombie, thankyouverymuch).

I see that in my VO biz all the time with guys offering :30 or :60 second spots for $5 to $10.

Word to the wise -- stay away. If you're trying to cut through the media noise, you're not going to do it with Skippy who just bought a snowball microphone. Real pros care about your success. We're only successful if you're successful. Paying a few extra bucks to find quality talent serves your best interests in the long run.

1 Don't be a woman
2 Run the seller's name and email through social media
3 Tell or take at least one person

See the rest of the list....

I produced the audio version of "11 SImple Steps to Writing, Designing, Self-Publishing, and Marketing Your Very First Book," by Jaime Vendera. If you've been thinking in that direction, this is a great help. Just went up on Audible here: http://lnkd.in/dvytGUU

What are the differences between workaholics and high performers?

My wife sent this to me...great article.

According to Jullien Gordon, a nationally recognized speaker, workaholism looks similar to high performance, but they're actually nothing alike.

What's the difference? The "big difference is how the individual feels on the inside about who they are in relationship to their work."

Here are 3 subtle differences between workaholics and high performers:

1. Workaholics allow other to determine their value while high performers know their value.

2.  High performers give 100% at the right time. Workaholics give 110% all of the time.

3.  High performers do business, workaholics are busy. The only thing that matters to high performers is results.

Great post on LinkedIn. Read it if you have time
