I just discovered Make a Vet Sweat! They serve veterans with combat related disabilities and their spouses by covering the cost of gym memberships to help beat PTSD. How wonderful!!!
"The idea came from Justin Bohannon, a veteran who served for 10 years with the 101st Airborne Division. Through his own struggles upon returning home and after the loss of many brothers and sisters in arms, he found relief through his passion for working out and staying fit. After being able to battle his own issues with PTSD it has been a personal mission of his to help others and share what worked for him. He recruited two friends to help make his vision come true and Make A Vet Sweat was officially formed in August 2015."

AmBadAssAdors - what's UP.
It's been forever since I've posted, and a lot has happened. I had major surgery in August, took a monthlong business trip in October, put our house on the market in November, moved my son cross country in Feb, accepted a new job in March, sold 90% of our belongings in April, moved cross country to Los Angeles in April, and 3 days later lacerated my left shin down to the bone.

Sighhhhhhh.

Also dealing with lots of bad news, tragedies, and health issues with close family and friends.

Suffice to say I'm plum worn out.

BUT my leg is finally healing, we're in our apartment, I'm getting used to my new job and new home, and I think I'm ok. (lol)

I'm working hard to get back to my sassy, ass-kickin' self, and it's a slow climb but I'll get there.

I'm not publishing new workout videos for This is Fit Workouts, but I'm still posting from that site - it's still my overall fitness presence, even as I am now Chief Fitness Officer (CFO - ha. Get it?) for www.inerTRAIN.com, an online personal training company based in Santa Monica, CA. So you can hit me up in either spot!

I miss you all and this is the first page I came to upon logging in for the first time in months.

How are YOU? Still crushing it at the gym? I hope so! Tell me everything I missed! ;-)

xo

Workout Time!
We're on a mission to get strong and there's No Going Back! We start this out with ninja squats, & later do some wicked single-leg push-ups with planks walks! Three more exercises - knee tucks with hip lifts, side and reverse lunges, and jacks with weighted overhead presses! - round out this full-body strength & conditioning workout to get you Fit, Firm & Fabulous!

Equipment for this Quickie Workout:  Two Light Weights, Mat, Sliders (or Paper Plates)

My HiiT Quickies are only 15 minutes long! You'll work all muscle groups, including abs, and get cardio too with my high-intensity interval workouts!

Set your interval timers for 50 seconds exercise, 10 seconds rest.

The video below is the workout in Real Time, all the way through.

If you want to learn the proper form for these exercises, plus how to make them EASIER, you can use the Preview Video for that at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4wPE3oMCMY
