The atmosphere building is good, the set design is great, the acting is also good (when it comes to the main cast, at least) but the rest, the CGI, the characterisation, is not that great and the plot is very predictable and, at times, annoyingly stupid.

I like it when new writers and new ideas get the AAA or, at least, AA treatment, but a better editor should have made a pass on this -- preferably one that has seen more AI scifi and more abduction thrillers -- because this treads a lot of old ground.

TLDR: Nice (Good production values but I've seen almost all of this before)

#TheBottomLine Disobedience

If I had to use just one word: Interesting, but I have to also add: not easy on Judaism -- but also not taking a rough pass at it either.

The acting is great, the hits are expected and therefor felt hard but they were handled very well and I especially liked the way it ended.

TLDR: Good (Must if you're looking for a good movie about a homosexual relationship and/or about Judaism).

#TheBottomLine Conviction

I honestly don't understand what the big fuss is about and why the ratings for this show was so low because, you've got Hayley Atwell, in a lawyer drama with an interesting gimmick and some great scenes and lines and lots of feel good moments (and some tragedy to boot).

TLDR: Good (Really too bad this only ran for one season).

#TheBottomLine Bent

It's a classic tale of cop gets caught in a conspiracy, sent to prison for a crime he didn't commit, and gets out only to try and find out exactly what happened and get revenge -- it's exactly as it looks, almost.

It's a pretty bland, vanilla, revenge action thriller with a few cool one-liners, one twist that is expected and one that is not so much.

TLDR: Nice (Follows the formula but I'm not sure if the modifications are worth it)

#TheBottomLine Terminal (2018)

This movie is witty, amusing, and full of style, mostly showing that Margot Robbie is a lot more that what most people remember her for and hoping that Mike Myers is back to stay.

The biggest thing about this movie, for me, is that it reminds me of Bunraku, which I also really liked, with its stark colours, blatant style, twisting plot lines and bonkers finale, and that's a big plus in my book.

TLDR: Good (Could have done better foreshadowing but I like its style).

It's a good thing you switched. That one might have sent the wrong message.

#TheBottomLine Entebbe

This movie received stellar, eh... I mean, bombing reviews but maybe I see it differently as an Israeli because I saw the tension in the cabinet, the tension in the hostage-takers, the humanising on both fronts and I especially saw the dancer/soldier scenes (Maybe because I once watched that dance live).

I think it's an interesting dramatisation of an event most Israeli people here stories about (as it's a glorious military success story) but never go looking further and when events get turned into visual imagery, people take notice and consciousness is raised, but I think the thing that sealed the deal for me was the last subtitle in the wrap up scene.

TLDR: Nice (Not spectacular but I think this needed to happen).
