I thought I would share the process on my bujo. Originally I just journaled by writing down day by day, interspersed with lists, meeting notes, ideas, plans, things I didn't want to forget etc.  Once I stumbled across the Bullet Journal idea, I realized the brilliance of the Index (still working on indexing older journals).  As well I started making sections for calendar/dates. Much better for keeping track and keeping some sense of rhythm my life. Wish I had done this way back in the 1990's when I started homeshcooling!!  I do clip together pages that cover one thing such as planning for a vacation or camp. That way they're there but I don't have to flip through them.  I still want to make the book markers using ribbon and paperclips. All in good time.

Hey all, found this web site, Tokyo Pen Shop, in a round about way. :D  and it's even near me... (well, two hours away in San Francisco-close enough!)  Plenty to look at...ooh... pens.

I also thought I'd share this, because I know a lot of folk love the traditional leather covers. I do know the young man who makes these, he is a friend of my son.  He is very talented and I am sure would tweak the covers for who would like that... they may be a bit high ( I don't really know) but they are lovely. I'm hoping to have him make me one someday soon. :)

Just saw this on FB and thought I would share here (hope I'm not duplicating!!).  I know I retain and learn more, and also feel more pulled together/focused/centered by writing/journaling. Many of my notebooks and journals are still around...

First I ought to say I'm a new member and a Kickstarter backer as well as a long time journal user. Very excited by the index (among other additions) which was one of the big missing pieces of my journaling over the years. I'm even going back and indexing older ones, or adding pages for old still useful info into a newer book (and purging useless info on my kids former activities  ).  I saw this article this am and thought folks would find in interesting or helpful (as well some possibly useful apps).
