#Caddy is one of the modern, next generation #web servers that has two major purposes: First is to serve static content (no dynamic and no backend contents) very fast, and the second is to act as a reverse #proxy for the web #applications.
Caddy is written in GO #programming language to achieve the most important goal: "easy #configuration", As a result, Caddy is not a
#hardware resource hungry web server. it comes with #HTTP/2.0 support and serves #HTTPS using "Let's Encrypt" by default.
to be honest, Caddy still, has a long way down the road but it already has some pros that can't be found in other web #servers. At least you can easily use Caddy for private projects, for running more serious projects it's probably better to wait until it gets a little more mature and get a major version number.
For getting started with Caddy check out #HugeServer #knowledgebase recent article regarding #installation and initial configuration.

Apache and Nginx are the two platforms that make the web, both of them are powerful. But each of them has their drawbacks.
As you might have heard, Apache is very powerful for processing dynamic content like PHP but it’s memory hungry.
On the other hand, Nginx is very powerful and lightweight web server for serving static content, But it needs a 3rd party Handler to process PHP.
It’s always hard to choose between Nginx and Apache as they have their own pros and cons.

So why not use both simultaneously?
You can make Nginx process your static contents and Apache to process your backend.

As a #programmer or a #Sysadmin even if you are sure of your code’s security, it could be hard to watch out for your web application #vulnerabilities. that's where Mod Security comes in.

Mod #Security is a Web server module that can help with protecting and preventing your Web applications from various attacks, It can block commonly known #exploits by use of regular expressions and rule sets, Mod Security can strengthen the security of your application by blocking common code injection attacks which are the most common way of getting #hacked.

#ModSecurity is more of an enabler, there are no hard rules telling you what to do, instead, it is up to you find your path through the available features.

We highly recommend you to install Mod Security on your web server.
You may check out our recent article for further assistance.
