This review is for UCO, the restaurant in the hotel. Came here for new years and it was exceptional -- each course was a masterpiece. Housemade charcuterie, ceviche, paella, lamb... Each course was better than the next. Truly a must.

The room was very nice, and the gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and professional. The room has a small but great selection of wines (full 750 ml bottles) with descriptions from a sommelier. The Bonarda from El Enemigo is fantastic. There is also a well equipped minibar with Nespresso coffee. The spacious room had a nice desk, side table with chairs, large chaise lounge, closet, dresser, TV, comfortable beds and a small balcony. The lock on the sliding door to the balcony was broken, and the door made horribly loud screetching noise when it was closed. The bathroom had a large, very nice shower with a rainwater showerhead. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was a big disappointment. The hotel makes a big deal of its restaurant, which claims to have a focus on fresh organic food. However, this is where the hotel failed. The sausage, beans, tomatoes and everything that was supposed to be freshly grilled was room temperature when it was served. We were very disappointed because the restaurant was supposed to be one of the highlights of the hotel, but they failed to meet even the most basic requirements of proper meal service. Letting eggs and meat sit at room temperature not only ruins the taste, but it is also unsanitary.

The restuarant UCO, in ground floor, good one, 8/10, costs about 550 pesos for dinner. Good for groups
