We had eaten at this location several times without any issue in the past. I have also eaten at other Carrabba's locations in other states. I have always found the service and quality of food to be very good. However, tonight I found a different situation. There must have been a management change or something since the last time we ate there. I made sure that I mentioned that this was a birthday event when I added us to the wait list on line ahead of time. We only had to wait about 10 minutes when we got there. No problems getting our appetizer and wine. The meal was another story. We had issues with 3 of our 4 meals, including the birthday girl's meal. We waited a very long time between when we got our appetizer and when we got our meal. The waitress only checked on us once, did not refill our waters. I had to ask twice for waters to be brought for our children because they drank their kid's juices during the very long wait for our meals (at least 45 minutes). When the meals came, my salad came, it was heavily dressed though I specifically requested dressing on the side and explained that I don't like heavily dressed salads, and my daughter's meal came with regular sauce (birthday girl), though we specifically requested light sauce and the waitress put both requests on the ticket. When we told the bus person that both mistakes had been made, she told us the manager would be over right away. When our waitress finally came over, we told her about both mistakes, and I specifically requested that my daughter's meal be made correctly, since it was her birthday. The waitress also said that her manager, who was working on the line, would be right over to talk to us. Another pizza was made for my daughter, and I requested that the salad be taken off our bill, as I was unable to eat it with so much dressing mixed in it. If I order a $17 salad specifically requesting dressing on the side, I expect it to be delivered as requested. If I forget to order it that way, I will eat it as is or take it home and have my husband eat it the next day. However, having waited so long, I did not want to wait even longer for it to be made again. Well, although the waitress was kind enough to bring a dessert for my daughter's birthday, we never saw the manager. We also had to have my daughter's juice, which was included with her kid's meal taken off the bill because it was charged incorrectly, as the menu specifically says that it is included in all meals for children under 10. Needless to say, this restaurant has major management issues. The table behind us got served before us, even though they arrived after us and ordered after us. Apparently a big party gets treated better than a smaller party, as our waitress went over to their table several times to check on them and only checked on us after our meal was delivered and when it was time to bring the dessert. I say, stay away from this location until they can get a management team in place that understands what taking care of customers really means! As for me and my family and friends we will never again go to this location. One mistake I could live with, 3 mistakes out of 4 and a lack of real concern by the staff and the management team is more than I am will to tolerate.

I don't get the bad reviews for this place, I guess everyone's experience is different but we've been there multiple times and it's always very good. The chicken brian is crazy, so good. Their spicy chicken soup is the bomb too... I've had multiple other items and it was always good, cooked properly and hot when they served it.

I went here tonight, there was a black hair in my salad. The waitress did not seem to care that much she never even told the manager. I would expect that my meal would have been comped or that the manager would have at least came over to apologize if he had know. Poor customer service. I've never been a waitress but if there was hair in my customers food I definitely would have done something to make up for it.

PJ’s Ratings: • Overall – 5 of 5 o Service – 6 o Food - 5 o Drinks (full bar) – 4 (could have been a tad more generous) o Ambience – 4 (a bit crowded - but not uncomfortable) • They offer call-ahead waiting-list placement – use it! We drove 45 minuets and then waited another 60 before being seated. • Saturday night – arrived 5:30 – seated at 6:30. – Waiting area still packed at 8:00. This review’s Visit: 2014/03/08 – 5:30 P.M. Server: Kristen – Excellent service – One of the very best servers, ever! Starters: • Calamari - $9.90 (Large) Hand-breaded to order and served with our housemade marinara or spicy Italian pepper and lemon butter sauce Fried calamari is my favorite appetizer. Carrabba’s version is the standard against which I have measure all others – it’s still the best! If you like fried calamari – try it! Main Dishes: • Veal Parmesan - $18.90 With Green Beans It’s not on the menu. When Kristen too our order, I commented that when we lived in Houston, our local Carrabba’s on Bay Area Blvd. would always make Veal Parmesan for me although it wasn’t on the menu. She replied that, “Sure we’ll make it – we have the ingredients, and everything is made from scratch anyhow!” It was exactly as my taste buds remembered from Houston. The tender and generous medallions of veal were cooked perfectly. The green beans were a little too “crisp” and not enough “tender”. • PajamaGal had the “Baked Ravioli Parmesan” - $12.50 She loved them. Although they were plentiful and she intended to take some home, there were only 2 left when she pushed the plate away. Our friends had a Filet Fiorentina*, and a Shrimp Risotto The filet was so tender that Ron cut it with his fork. Kathy said her risotto was delicious. We didn’t have desert. From the fresh-baked bread to the salads and entrees, everything was just as it should be. PajamaGal and I each had a cocktail, and with the starter and entrees our check was $60. It’s no wonder why the place was packed! We’ll be back!

Times have changed since I last went at this location. Just keep driving. There are better restaurants right next to the mall.

Very tasty food and tremendous service from Kyle. For once it was so nice to have a waiter that anticipated our needs and we did not have to ask for everything. They willingly split meals without charging extra which is a nice plus. I have not been to a Carrabba's in a little while and the John Cole dessert is still delicious.
