Simon Lam: Not being ABA accreditied, how useful is the JD degree? And how employable are the graduates? How successful are the graduates to obtain a legal profession? What does the school do to help the graduates?
Gretchen Phillips: No online law school can be ABA-accredited nor does the California State Bar currently accredit online law schools. However, the only regulatory body with authority over online juris doctorate degrees is the California State Bar Association, with which we are registered. Therefore, after you graduate from St. Francis and pass all applicable requirements of the State Bar of California, you may practice law throughout California without restriction.
Next, as a newer institution we do not have any graduates as of yet. However, we do have a Career Services Department available to assist our current students and future alumni. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
