Strong is the new pretty!

"My goal with this project was to showcase my girls and their friends, to tell their story. That there is beauty in confident, strong, fierce, messy, silly young girls. I hope that other girls see this and recognize that whatever they love, whatever makes them unique and special is beautiful and worthy of celebration, too."
Kate T. Parker
"My girls know that who they are is just perfect. Their silly, adventureous, frustrated, happy, LOUD, athletic, fierce, funny selves. Being themselves is enough for us. And ultimately, for them, too…that’s the goal, at least...

People seem to have strong opinions on which job is (not) suitable for men and women. In Britain, 64% believe that women make better florists while only 3% think men are better florists. When asked which jobs men are not suited for, 12% of men and 8% of women reply "florist". 73% of men and 61% of women disagree with the statement that neither gender are better than the other at working as a florist (WorldPay Zinc, 2013). Swiss florists also seem to use gender category mobilisation strategies selling simple, not too fancy, not a lot of care needing, easy to handle, brightly coloured flowers to male clients or to women who want to buy flowers for men and pastel shades to women (Le Feuvre & Zinn, 2013).
"Flower Power" is a photograph taken by Bernie Boston (1933-2008) during a march to the Pentagon on 21 October 1967, nominated for the 1967 Pulitzer Prize. It shows a Vietnam protestor placing carnations in the rifles of guar...

...and then they also say there is equality between the genders and I'm not sexist. But what they lacked look is how many dont't see these walls.

But in world where thinking is flat, even when you make a not flat question, you always will receive a flat answer.

"When Lisa Genova wrote this book, she told me that no one wanted to make it into a movie because no one wanted to see a movie about a middle-aged woman."
Julianne Moore
A study examining gender portrayals in general audience films (101 of the top-grossing G-rated movies between 1990 and 2005) came to the conclusion that there was a clear gender imbalance. 28% of the speaking characters and 1...

Quoting Charlton Heston when he is quoting Thomas Jefferson
"All men are created equal" was first used by Thomas Jefferson in 1776 who may have borrowed this "immortal declaration" by his Italian friend and neighbour Philip Mazzei (via). We hold these truths to be self-evident, that ...

"I'm sure you can find a movie before 1967 where a black man hit a white man back. But in a way, this was the slap heard around the world."

Introduction
Florian Satzinger was a student of well-regarded Disney, MGM and Hanna-Barbera animator and animation director Ken Southworth («Alice In Wonderland», «Woody Woodpecker», «Tom & Jerry», «The Flintstones», «Peanuts», «The Smurfs») who influenced him greatly. Having worked for clients that include Red Bull, Warner Bros., ReelFX and Disney, Satzinger is now developing Toby Skybuckle© with France and Japan based Ankama Media Group and John Starduck© with Tigobo Animation Studios. Besides his industrial career, he holds a lectureship for character design, analog animation and animation history, in collaboration with Maryam Laura Moazedi, at the University of Applied Sciences, Salzburg.
