I love this venue. I can see someone get mad about this place if they see the stage keeps turning away from them, but I've been to two shows and its great to have the artist move around the set and everybody from all corners of the venue receive an equally great view and experience. Private parking is a plus, keeps out scalpers and ensures your car gets some level of security. Wish the ticket doubled as a parking pass though. Bathrooms are the biggest negative here. I've seen closets with more space to move in an out. We are packed like sardines in there.

Rawr!!!! The lady at the window to purchase a ticket. Snatches the money right out my hand and throws the ticket through the little hole without saying a thank you have a great day. It's not my fault you have a bad day. Im scared of this place now LOL

My rating is not for the theatre but to the idiot and "racist" who wrote three months ago that he went to see "Ray Charles" at this theatre. Ray Charles has been dead how long? And when was this performance? Get a life. I am sure those "so-called" African Americans you are referring too have long forgot about you, Ray and everything else that happened that night. SMH. Folks like you always seem to hide behind computers to spew hatred and nonsense.

Just saw a great show at the Celebrity, had great seats but the actual seats were broken and when we asked around us everyone said their seats were broken too. Bleachers would have been more comfortable than these old broken down seats. Can't say I will go back until I hear that they have replaced the seats.

I recently saw Aziz Ansari perform at this theatre. His performance was amazing. I was less than thrilled with everything else though. The venue itself was okay- the typical older, grody carpet throughout, and then long lines for the bathroom (shouout to the attendant that told me to go downstairs, that bathroom was empty). My main problem was with the parking. The distance from the exit on the 202 to the actual venue is less than a mile, but we sat in traffic for half an hour, starting at the off ramp. Why weren't there police directing traffic? Why was it such an issue? This is a logistics nightmare!!! The same happened when we attempted to leave. Thankfully, we were in a back lot, and were able to exit through side entrances, so we only had to wait 15 minutes to exit. Maybe it was the 9:30 showing, but this is ridiculous.

I went to watch John Prine and Iris DeMent on a Thursday night. I usually do not go to concerts on weeknights because my wife and I have day jobs. This experience only reinforces my practice of avoiding weeknight concerts. For starters, the concert did not start until 8:00PM. Iris sang until 9:00PM when they shifted from Iris to john Prine. Problem was that the could not or did not remove Iris' piano for 30 minutes. So, we had an unplanned 30 minute delay. It was past 9:30 PM when John Prine finally appeared. He sang until 11:00 PM when Iris joined him. We stayed until 11:15 PM and had to leave to be home before midnight. We missed most of john Prine and Iris singing together which was the primary reason for us attending.

I went to see Ray Charles here. The drunken African Americans behind us were so obnoxious. They jabbered all the way through it, and when the woman next to me complained, they became even more obnoxious. Where was security?

Celebrity Theatre hasn't shared anything with you.

People are more likely to share with you if you add them to your circles.
