My father Eamonn Ashe and I are truly humbled to receive this exceptional review of '31 Years of Hell 1914–1945' @WorldWarBook, which Dad wrote and I edited/published. The review was written by Philip Ingram, a freelance journalist focused on security, intelligence, terrorism and geopolitics. He is also a former senior intelligence and security officer. It's gratifying to be endorsed by an expert on military/security affairs. http://allsecurityevents.com/31-years-hell-must-read/ #books #book #reading #read #amreading #Amazon #IndieAuthor #SupportIndieAuthors #IAN1 #IARTG #ASMSG #bookreview

I’m absolutely ecstatic! The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, which owns and hosts the Oscars, also runs the Academy Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting. With my script ‘Cracks In The Ice’, which is about the blood diamond war in Sierra Leone, I am an Academy Nicholl Fellowship Quarterfinalist.

“Dear Fiona,
Congratulations! You have advanced to the Quarterfinal Round of the 2016 Academy Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting. By doing so, yours is one of only 357 entries to emerge from the First Round.

With 6,915 scripts entered, the initial round was extremely competitive and made the selection of quarterfinalists a difficult task.

Good luck through the remainder of the competition.”
