Interesting visualization. Glad to see that I'm not crazy. We have a programmable thermostat that's set to be "off" (technically 89 degrees, the max you can set the thermostat to) until 4:30 PM, where it drops 84. Right before bedtime (10:30) it drops to 80, until right before we wake up, where it goes to 89.
Works really well. Though I'd like to have some internet control of the system so I can keep the A/C (or heat) off if we're out. This theoretical system may use more power than it could save.
