I only call attention to this tale of criminal-minded siblings because it contains a corker of a quote--a true masterpiece of understatement:

"Lee-Grace Dougherty worked briefly as one of 300 or so exotic dancers at Cheaters Gentlemen’s Club in Cocoa Beach, Fla., where Mark Luethje, the general manager, said, 'She did nothing to make an impression on anybody.'"

Rarely has a newspaper quote done such an excellent job of capturing the mundanity of criminality. Or, alternately, the fact that the most volatile personalities often lurk behind the plainest of exteriors. You choose.

Her quote from Flickr was great: "I love to farm and shoot guys and wreck cars. I'm a redneck and proud of it. I like milk and German engineering and causing mayhem with my siblings."
Always good to know there's another Fahrvergnügen fan out there.
Come to think of it, that must really hurt the folks in Dee-troit. If a self-acknowledged redneck who loves to farm and shoot guys and wreck cars isn't interested in buying American, maybe they should just hang it up.
