Quote from a happy Tribe Member:

You can tell this diet was created by someone who loves food. It’s called the Greengrocer’s Diet but I think it could easily have been called the food lover’s diet. If you’re already a food lover, you’ll thrive on it because you won’t feel hungry and you’ll relish using all those delicious ingredients (and they’re much cheaper because they’re in season!). And if you have a love/hate relationship with food, you owe it to yourself to try it – you’ll be converted to a fully-fledged food lover in no time, because you’ll get to really enjoy every mouthful and FINALLY stop feeling guilty about what you eat. In fact, I now feel really GOOD about what I eat. I just don’t feel like I’m on a weight-loss diet, even though the scales prove that I am.

My goal was to loose around 8.5kg, I’m 4.4 kg down and creeping closer and feeling good!

In the first week you can expect to lose more than 1 kg. Some people with a lot to lose have lost more than 5kg but over time it should drop down to a consistent 500g a week, and that’s well worth congratulating yourself

TRIBE MEMBER : - Tuesday weight in - Lost 900gm this week, total 6.50kg in 6 weeks.
Would be nice to think in another 18/19 weeks I could lose the 18.5kg to goal....but realistically it may take longer.

JUDY DAVIE: - It may take longer but provided you are enjoying the journey what does it matter

" If you stick to this you WILL lose weight. I've lost all that I needed to lose. Now I still make the same meals - I just eat a little more. I'm obsessed with this diet. It works and I feel so well."

Autumn is a good season to lose weight. The days are getting shorter, the party invitations slow down and it gives us more time to plan and prepare our meals.

Here's a good exercise for those of you who have lost a few kg's - fill a bag with books to the weight of what you've lost then walk around with the bag for a while. When you finally put the bag down you are immediately reminded of what you've achieved and how much better it feels to lighten the load.

Congratulations Louise.
" I'm not tired like I used to be. I sleep better and when I'm tired it's a different tired. My eyes are tired but my body's not. And I don't want chocolate anymore - I used to eat it every day"
