Authentic sushi done right. Though it is located in a strip mall, it has the same feeling as nobu. Only more authentic. With its roots standing firm in the middle of this wide metropolis, they know where they come from. Great tasting fish and even warm charming aesthetics this place knows how to do it.

Bar none, the best sushi in LA. It is also the best kept secret. Not cheap, but that is why it is exceptional.

Simply terrific. While very unassuming-looking, the sushi is excellent, with a rotating menu of daily selections, and the staff are friendly.

Hands down, my favorite sushi in all of L.A. Don't let the unassuming, strip mall storefront fool you, the sushi is spectacular! They also have a great sake menu, cold and hot. No one else does scallops quite like Hirozen. Delicious.

one of the best sushi restaurants in la. certainly one of the best not in the valley and not of the trendy 'koi' style. if you want really good, fresh, authentic food... and what i call double-diamond (think ski runs) sushi. this is the place.
