A quick update for you on the Multi Use Games Area at South Farnham Infant School.  Taking advantage of the improving weather, we were recently able to lay the new synthetic grass surface to the new MUGA which you can see in the picture.

The construction of a new tennis court at the beautiful Ramster Hall in Chiddingfold has started now that the weather is more suited to building tennis courts. The picture show the excavation and the foundations being laid for the next stages.

As long as the weather continues to (mostly) shine on us then we will soon be laying the playing surface!

Academy Sports has, again, won an important project for a prestigious school.  This time, we have been asked to carry out the redevelopment of five tennis courts at Wimbledon High School for Girls.

The school is part of the Girls' Day School Trust organisation. We are well known to the Trust, having carried out works for several of its other schools: Brighton and Hove High School and Putney High School among them.

Not only have we had to schedule the works for the School's summer holidays, we also need to complete the bulk of the works between the end of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships, and the start of the Olympics to avoid the likely congestion in the area.  We are due to start this project this week.

We've just completed the tennis court redevelopment programme for Enfield Tennis Club. All six tennis courts were upgraded. The tennis court construction, fencing and resurfacing work was successfully carried out last year, and temporary playing lines were marked out so that Club members could use the courts over the winter until we could return when the weather improved and apply the final surface colour.

Unusually, the Tennis Club opted for a combination of blue and green for the surface coating, rather than the standard green. As you can see from the photo, this has provided a strikingly different set of courts for a club in relatively built-up surroundings.
