First Generation Gemcraft
48 levels on Gemcraft - Chapter 1: The Forgotten (GC1).
78 levels on Gemcraft - Chapter 0: Gem of Eternity (GC0).
169 levels on Gemcraft - The Lost Chapter: Labyrinth (GCL).
The first installment took me 1 year and 4 months to finish.
After 3 years and 3 months the second installment gave way to the now currently played third installment.
Note that i had to start over on first two due to not making flash save backups and Firefox deleting them along your cookies nowadays. But now... back to news: with Gemcraft Chapter 2: Chasing Shadows, not only does the story of GC1 continue, but also this introduces a complete makeover of the well-established flash-game series and hauling them to second generation.
Seen the Talisman System, new map view & graphics or reward screen yet, NOT? You better head over to GameInABottle.com right away then!
Until the second generation Gemcraft can actually be played it will probably be months or even another year, with 2 years working together with his spouse, the indie-developer couldn't finish it yet (previous games were made by himself alone).
If you haven't played any of these games yet, either head to their site, or use your existing ArmorGames or Kongregate accounts to play them here:
Developer site linked below, see his blog for latest news on GC2.
PS: Keep on playing! They can be beaten, proved that to myself. ^^
