The food here is so well prepared. I ate here last night for the first time in a while, and enjoyed every bite. They have a tasting menu where you can select one dish from each of 3 sections, plus dessert, for $35. [I had: pea soup(w/ vanilla panna cotta, pea shoots and mint oil), house-made pappardelle(w/ wild mushroom, parsnip puree, pecorino), and pork tenderloin (w/ heirloom bean, spinach, fennel chutney)]. After all that, I had no room for dessert so just had some coffee instead. I was dining alone last night, and sat perched at the counter facing the open kitchen. Not all open kitchens make for good viewing, but I enjoyed watching these guys work together to create the dishes and get them out to the tables. Plus the plating was beautiful, and service was great too.

We've lived and dined in Westwood for decades, and were delighted by our discovery of this new find. The staff was welcoming and eager to please, and the menu is fresh and interesting. We thoroughly enjoyed the brussels sprouts, carrot risotto, churros and several nice glasses of French wine. Check it out!

I've been here 3 times over past 9 months. The food is great, but the place is NOISY. Tall ceilings, narrow room = acoustical nightmare. I've been twice for lunch and once for dinner... same story. crazy loud. unpleasantly so. Owners, please do something about this! It needs to be addressed. So much has gone into the rest of the place... a shame to let such a glaring issue go unresolved. (fixing it is so cheap & easy - felt under tables, some acoustic tiles in the corners or a few strips of hanging felt) I work at UCLA, and it's nice to have something in the area that is different from most others in the area & more like places in Venice, Santa Monica, Silverlake, Downtown - or pretty much anywhere else in LA. thanks for bringing some great food to Westwood. Please make it easier to enjoy it...

Have to have the homemade cream soda. Real cream and delicious. The porchetta sandwich is great

I've been three times, felt the same way after every meal. Food is not bad but not great, and way overpriced.
