Can you do a video like this every quarter and compare your CPI to the actual one? It'd be useful.

Google Search helps you find whatever you're looking for. We've brought this idea to life in a short video showing how human passion and hope can overcome time and borders. In this story, a woman in India reunites her grandfather with his childhood friend (who is now in Pakistan) following six decades of separation since the partition of India—with a little help from Google. We hope this is a reflection of the many stories of reunion. If you find it moving, share it—and tell us your own story in the comments.

If World War One Was a Bar Fight

I saw this a few years ago & it seems to be making the rounds again.

Favorite line: "Germany rolls up its sleeves, looks at France, and punches Belgium."

These don't all seem to be new commands; in fact, I remember a video of yours from last year that had most of these voice commands. It does seem slightly more polished than last year though.

Today's XKCD (http://xkcd.com/1289/) is so perfectly accurate about so many things.

No, [technology] will not solve all the problems of the world. No, [technology] will not bring about the apocalypse. Yes, [technology] will be used for sex. Yes, [technology] will be discussed ad nauseam by the media, especially insofar as it can be tuned to accentuate preexisting fears, because that will drive clicks.

Electronic surveillance is extremely excessive and needs to be massively turned down. No threat of terrorism is enough to justify the level of surveillance the NSA has implemented.

How will allegations of eavesdropping affect America's relations with its allies? On November 8th at 4pm GMT / 11am EST our International section editor, Edward Lucas, will answer your questions on electronic surveillance via Twitter. We waited an hour for the so called best pizza in the world. If this is what you are expecting you will be sadly disappointed. Any corner pizza shop in NYC has comparable pizza without the wait.
