Could you maybe do the smallest butterfly on a separate piece of fabric and then turn it into a little ornament afterward so it's not wasted? Then you could test it out. I think it would look amazing with colors!

I'm so sorry to hear about your stepmum passing. I'm sorry she won't be able to go to the wedding. :( My prayers are with you. I hope you get some answers about your health. I'm still waiting to get into a specialist. The preliminary tests don't show rheumatoid arthritis so I have no idea what's going on. I'm becoming more and more disabled and I think the worst part is not knowing what it is. Hopefully we will both get answers soon!

I vote for Pomarium, but I think both designs are lovely! I'm probably going to start the Venice Mandala this month. I need to order the dmcs too.

I would love to be entered into all the giveaways. Thanks for your generosity.

Love,
@stitchymom :)

When I have a major issue like this, I have found that the best thing to do us to put it away and work on something else. In a few days, after I have calmed down, it is much easier to find the error. Honestly, I used to unpick right away and sometimes realized my mistake was minor or not even there afterward. Just put it away and work on your band sampler for a few days and then take it out again and go row by row to find your mistake. You can either fudge the pattern or unpick. When unpicking, you can always cut a thread and then weave in whatever is left of the thread so you don't have to unpick the entire thread.

I was also looking for the GHI chart and finally found out at Down Sunshine Lane. It is an LNS in the US. It wasn't on their website, but she got it for me and is shipping it this week. I would email her.

Great discussion! I'm so glad you have continued releasing these videos after the death of Father Gruner. May God grant him eternal rest.

I agree with your assessment of online communities, particularly Facebook. I have recently stopped going on Facebook and my life is much happier. I didn't cancel my account, but I just occasionally check my messages and cross stitch groups. I honestly prefer Instagram. You get the support and the chance to get advice without all the drama. :)

I understand your stitcher's block completely! I've been working on a dimensions kit for my daughter. I just can't seem to work on it for whatever reason! With those projects, I put them away for awhile. That usually helps, but not with this one. I've determined to work on it a little here and there. I'll get it out a couple times a week and put in a couple of threads worth of stitches. Then I'm still making progress, even if it's slow. The Stash Queen does an hour a day on projects she doesn't like. An hour a day is a lot though if your stitching time is limited! I'm sure your love for the project will come back! Maybe you just need to get rid of the deadline in your head. Sometimes that really kills my urge to stitch on something! :)

Congratulations! I think I would fill in those random stitches, but I'm pretty OCD about my stitching! I love honeybees! I'm excited to see how you frame it

I'm sorry you had a rough day today. I completely understand. I'm just in the process of being diagnosed with a chronic illness. It's probably rheumatoid arthritis, but I'm not sure yet. It's really hard being mostly homebound. It can be really depressing to be in the house so often. I have a wonderful husband and 4 kids, but I miss out on so much because I am exhausted or in pain. It's a tough cross to bear. It's ok to feel sad. No need to put on a mask for us! You are in my prayers!
