I will be teaching a soft circuit workshop at Site3′s LED Party on Saturday, March 22nd. From 5-8pm, you can drop in and learn the basics of creating soft, wearable electronics projects using fabric, conductive thread, and LEDs. Bring your own LEDs and Lilypads if you have them and want to attach them to something! You can also purchase a material kit ($10) to make a basic light up bracelet if you don’t have a particular project in mind.

You can then wear the thing that you made to the LED Party that starts at 9pm! Check it out!

Hey everyone! I'm going to be teaching another class on how to use muscle wire (Flexinol) at Site 3 coLaboratory on Wednesday, February 12th, 2014 from 7-10pm.

The class costs $50 if you already own an Arduino, or $80 if I need to get one for you. If you've never used an Arduino before, it's okay! I can go over the basics with you. You'll need to bring a laptop with you.

Here's the link to register for the class:

Just thought I’d post up a small video of something that I’m working on. This is muscle wire embedded into knit wool.

And as a reminder, I’m teaching a class on how to use muscle wire on June 28th at Site 3. The deadline for registration is June 22nd! You can get more details here: http://flexinol1site3-eorg.eventbrite.com/
