Bad food and bad service. Twice. I'm done. Food is uninspired and way too salty. Seriously, lay off the stuff. Tried to get the manager to resolve some of our food problems and he was very rude. Very inconsiderate. Service is mediocre to bad. Don't encourage a party of co-workers to show up and then boot them from the tables when they are spending freely on food and drink. Bad idea tonight and one that will ensure that many don't return.

This place really stuck out for me. It was not what you'd expect the Fenway area to offer but the service was still awesome and the drinks potent! I grabbed a $3 bag of house made beef jerk (this was after 1 am, after all!) and it was completely worth it. I can see this place being a regular hangout for me, at least when I find myself over in the neighborhood. Also, kudos to whoever was in charge of music when I went last Thursday/Friday night!

gotta love wine on tap and a chalkboard wall full of whiskey and bourbon! not to mention their great tap beer selection. oh and don't forget how amazing all their food is. the apps are killer (mussels, ricotta & honey, meatball, fish tacos) and their tuna burger is out of this world. also if you have a large party, consider their pig roast!

Excellent craft beer selection. Great food - excellent fries. Good service. Have come several times - gets very crowded on the weekends. Fun atmosphere.

I love to get a few small plates here. When it's on the menu, get the Scotch Egg. It's awesome. There is always a good selection of oysters, too! Citizen also has a very cool Japanese ice ball maker, which makes neat round ice cubes that go perfectly in a glass of whiskey (less surface area makes for less watered down drinks, iirc). There are loads of different whiskeys available here, and a club to join if you are inclined to try them all!

One of Fenway's best. Part raw bar, part industry hang out, part local haunt. Beer wine and cocktails all come on tap and are lists that go toe to toe with any of the much bigger bars in town. The menu here concentrates on roast meats -- a 15 person whole pig dinner is advertised heavily on the menu, and seems to be very popular. Come with a group before a Red Sox game, and order one of every item <$10, then pick and choose among your favorites to re-order as you continue to work your way through their beer and cocktail list. Then, when the Sox lose, come back and work your way through the 50+ scotch list over a burger or steak. This is the kind of place that other people in the restaurant industry come to on their days off. Also, they have my most consistently favorite brunch in the city and I can't figure out why the rest of the city hasn't discovered it.
