Poop, it’s a delicate topic and it’s one of those things that we’re often reluctant to discuss in the company of strangers. But a new baby is welcomed into the family; we suddenly lose all inhibition when it comes to discussing poop. Learn all about the colors of poop when introducing solid foods.

I am so darn psyched today! I have the opportunity to give away a rainbow of the most colorful, useful and clever baby spoons to come to market. Have you seen the Spuni? Spuni’s patented tulip design naturally encourages babies to latch onto, and suck and swallow food from the spoon, offering babies a more manageable portion with each spoonful.

Looking at cost effectiveness in a pure cost versus cost manner, you will find that the cost of homemade ranges from $0.49 per pound (fruits and veggies) to $5.99 per pound (meats and fish).

I think the best way to show you the cost basis is to show you a few images of baby food at the (my local NH) grocery store.

Make an Ornament and Make a Homemade Baby Food Gift Basket.

I know it’s early but, people are pinning an old image of my handmade Christmas ornament only to find that the post has disappeared and I can’t find it either; Yikes! So here is the post, recreated but originally posted in December 2011 -

It’s true what the book says about chicken soup being good for the soul.  A good warm bowl of homemade chicken soup can lift the spirit and chase away the blues and yes, it even helps hasten the departure of the common cold.  The cold season in New England, literally and figuratively, creeps up rather quickly and seems to blindside us.  We hate to face the harsh reality that the warm lazy days of Summer and the glory days of Fall are over.  Enter the soup pot.
