Love Papi's. I have to resist eating here too often. Get a side of bread with whatever you order. I don't know what they do to it, but it's the best bread I've ever had. They need to add drink specials, though.

Phenomenal food, the cuban sandwhich is my favorite, also they have the best chocolate cake I have ever tasted. They have become a small Atlanta chain with about 6 total spots and both of the other two were also excellent.

I love this place!!! I usually get the shredded chicken (pollo vaca fritas) it comes with salad plantains and your choice of yellow or white rice. It's amazing with large portions usually. Black beans are awesome as well as Shrimp, it's delicious!

Go very regularly and always get the same order — maduros, pollo vaca-fritas, and a tasty cocktail. Simply spectacular. Really good for waking up and dragging yourself to Sunday lunch.

Still the best Sandwich Place in the ATL. Came back here with my friend Harrison J. since I was really craving a good cuban sandwich yesterday. We went in, and the place was bustling with music from a guy playing music in the corner and tons of people. It was SO busy, I'm surprised we got a table without waiting, honestly. But as always, papi's is worth it.... We got a cuban sandwich and a steak sandwich, and split them half and half so we each had a half of one. One thing I actually discovered that day was Papi's sauce, which apparently is in the little random containers labeled with other things? I don't care where it is, its SO GOOD. I drenched my sandwiches in it, I wish I'd know about this before! This time I didn't feel the wait was too long either, especially considering literally every other table was full of people! Okay, so the cuban sandwich. I don't really know how to describe it to encompass all of its goodness. It's a sandwich with toasty and warm cuban bread, with a ton of meat, among them several kinds of deli meat plus juicy pork.. It's also got melted cheese, mayo, mustard, and crunchy dill pickles in just the right amount. Very generous portions of meat, and very filling. And of course, the taste is spectacular.... somehow all of those flavors clash together to form a savory sensation in your mouth. And I don't even like pickles or mustard! And the steak sandwich: so juicy and awesome. Same toasty warm cuban bread, and numerous pieces of skirt steak all around. I think it also had cheese, and of course the papitas (cruchy little tiny fries) that give it a little bit of crunchy and more flavor while still being juicy. And one thing that I think changed, since I don't remember it from the first time I came: they put garlic sauce on this sandwich.... it's soooo good. Pretty sure it wasn't there before, but definitely a great addition. Maybe it was there though, but it just seemed so good this time that it seems new. I don't know, point is, GREAT sandwich. And of course I dipped this one in papi's sauce too, makes it even better, somehow. Now I've been to a ton of cuban places, not so many in atlanta, but I grew up in miami, so yea, I think I know my cubans. This is GREAT stuff, and has a pretty great pricing too, bill came out to 6.36 with tax. Awesome, or AWESOME?
