Does citibank have the worst website?
I've used a handful of banking/credit card websites, and I have to say of them all, Citibank's by far the worst of them all. They are the Comcast of banking websites. I logged into my business credit card account to try and get the yearly total interest. I ...

Is Verizon purposely slowing down Netflix traffic?
I have Verizon FiOS at home. I have the 50/25 package, which means I should get roughly 5 megs a second download and 2.5 megs a second upload. I don't normally have too much need for the upload, but I do download quite a bit and I have to say for the most p...

I haven't really been playing WW lately  - not that much time and there's just too much micro-managing that eats up time. I was just wondering if the game is still being actively developed? Haven't seen any new posts in here a while and don't think i've seen an update for the game itself in a while either.

I think there's a bug in the build times, or in the estimate of the build time.

If I have zero saved minerals and I max out the production so that the mineral production is in the red, the build time is less then if I balance out mineral production so that the hourly mineral production is zero. The most efficient combination of construction and mineral production should be when hourly mineral is zero versus being in the red, or am I missing something?

Accelerating builds doesn't really make too much sense the way it is now.  It's not very realistic that a brand new colony could spit out a million fighters just as long as you have the money for it. No matter how much money you have, it still takes time and resources to build something. Plus i think it adds a little more balance into the game.  This way you can't get a situation where someone manages to take over a planet in the middle of someone's empire and then magically has a huge fleet of ships because they burned a chunk of cash to accelerate the build.

I would say that at least fighters need to be placed under some sort of limit. I think being able to accelerate buildings, in realistic terms, should also be limited. But for practical playability that doesn't make sense since it would just make colonizing new systems much more tedious and slow if you had to wait for each building lvl to complete and then come back to it to upgrade again.

Perhaps at the very least you need to have the raw minerals on hand in order to accelerate build however many ships you are trying to make.
