Five Detail views from my favorite Paris Museum Le Museé Des Arts Decoratifes.
Although the Collection of Masterpieces from the 1930s is my favorite, the superior level of quality makes every period of French Decorative Arts sing, even the late 19th century as evidenced by the Dragon motif and Mother of Pearl inlaid chair backs in these studies.

When you visit, do not miss the views of Paris over the Tuilleries Gardens from the tower galleries that are almost hidden at the end of the Museum furthest from its entry off the Rue de Rivoli and only accessible from a nearly hidden elevator at the rear of the upper floors.

Our newest Restaurants at Wynn Las Vegas.
BARTOLOTTA ,inspired by memories of shifts of sunlight piercing the sea around me on snorkel dives and Wing Lei,  an homage to classic Ming Dynasty architecture and decorative arts with touches of precious jade.

The gods were with us in Manhattan for my Rocky Mountain Hardware FLUTE collection launch.  Skies were dry and dramatic over the roof top of Midtown's Refinery Hotel as the vertical lines of the Empire State building loomed dramatically overhead. The perfect backdrop to a collection based on the vertical flutes of the columns of ancient Greece.

Doors and cabinets painted in the style of Christian Bérard showed the simplicity of this versatile collection to perfection.

Pictures are worth a thousand words so I share these details from the Jeff Koons Retrospective at the Whitney Museum of American Art with no words of my own except Lush, Surprising, Iconic.

I hope the views are unexpected.

We just enjoyed three glorious days through the looking glass.

Arthur and I joined Master Designer Timothy Corrigan at his remarkable Château du Grand Lucé , a statement of comfort in total elegance.

We joined Vincente Wolf ( Tim's best friend ) and Matthew Yee for the Vernissage of the Biennale Des Antiquares in Paris then toured down for a three day House Party for 20.
Treasure Hunts, watercolors in the gardens, sumptuous lunches and diners from garden to Château, parlor games and intimate conversations with new friends made for the most memorable , romantic and cinematic weekend in memory.

Arthur and I just arrived in Venice (after canceled flights) in time for the Regatta Storica as guests of Sandrina Rubelli.
We dined on the rooftop terrace of the Peggy Guggenheim Collection. This will live forever in memory as one of the most perfect days.

Views of the roof tops of Venice and the colorful Regatta as it proceeded up the Grand Canal from its start in the Bacino.

The day was perfect and the Rubelli Family the perfect hosts.

After luncheon, we strolled to the family Palazzo Corner Spinelli for Prosecco and Gelato.
