I don't know why everyone is criticizing the restaurant so much. I've eaten there about a dozen or so times and ALWAYS had a great experience. The owner has always been great to myself and my party. The food there has always been great and the atmosphere is the best, but then again, I'm a pretty optimistic person who enjoys life and the company I'm with to the fullest.

Myself with 2 friends went a couple of weeks ago. The place was filled with energy from the moment we walked in the door. The staff was so welcoming and the food was just right. It was close to Christmas and the decorations were right out of a magazine, just so pretty and in the holiday spirit. This was a great experience and will be returning. Oh yes, and the bathrooms are decorated so beautifully.

I had a good experience here and enjoyed their food. I have only been here once. Though I am not rushing to come back, I do plan to.

Disheartening experience this past visit. (Monday, May 31, 2012) Having been introduced to TLR upon another visit to South Florida by a journalist friend who knows I enjoy live music, I was appalled to learn that I would be refused being seated at a proper table because I was DINING SOLO. (The audacity!) As a frequent TRAVELER, I often dine solo and very often, prefer a proper meal than to appear "available" sitting alone at a bar, which is the option I was offered. [Note: this place is mere steps from a business HOTEL.] Did I mention it was a MONDAY night? A rainy one at that. There was clearly no Wait. Regardless, I found the way my choice to dine negated was beyond TACKY and the surest signal of small town mentality fathomable. On a complete side note, though at the beginning of that same odyssey, I found it baffling that I was able to have a >complete< conversation with someone I perceived to be the Hostess before any actual Hostess came to the front to seat me.
