"The Ends Justify the Means

The Times, like all apologists for the military empire that is the United States, accepts immorality if the (advertised) ends are noble:

At least in recent decades, American presidents who took military action have been driven by the desire to promote freedom and democracy…

Ask the millions of dead, wounded and displaced if they appreciate the “freedom and democracy” that they have achieved via US intervention. The ends justify the means only for those who benefits from “the ends,” and not for those who suffer through “the means.”

Whatever one might say about Hussein in Iraq, Ghaddafi in Libya, or Assad in Syria, the people in these countries weren’t dying by the millions before the United States intervened on their behalf."

What will these people do to feed their dogs?
I mean, I know we didn't want to see them eating fish, but, these are pets. The dogs up in the Northwest (many of them, particularly up on the Res) survive and thrive on fish.
Now, the fish is gone. What will happen to the dogs?
Money is in short supply. Disaster relief will hardly cover the dogs. It is not only fish that are missing.

I wonder, in five years, how far inland will this go? WHEN will our FEDERAL govt finally NOTICE? How about the, "Fail-stream media"?

How sad.
As promised, Salmon Fishing in Alaska is KAPUT:
It is now a FEDERAL DISASTER ZONE and there will finally be some financial relief. However, the money paid to fishermen, etc.., will not be edible. And this may be a problem, particularly for the native Aleuts.. I would think so!

The wind blew (Japan IS an island nation, and this happens..) A crane fell over. But, what was the crane in the process of doing when it fell? It was there to place a concrete sarcophagus atop the building housing a large spent-fuel pool, in Takahama, Fukui.
Question: WHY a sarcophagus? Does anyone know more about this?
