Impressive place, but they did a really poor job helping me find the one thing I was looking for: a SIM card. I ended up with a "Prepaid SIM for Japan" that ran about 3200 JPY (25 USD) which doesn't provide LTE, only HSPA (despite what the box says) and has a cap of 100 MB per day for 7 days (700MB). Compare to MyFone in Taipei, where 1.2 GB of LTE that can be used any time over the course of a month is only 10 USD. Plus the MyFone setup process was far simpler.

They have a huge selection of electronics, plus a decent size book store and several restaurants. I most enjoy the hobbyist secetion they have and tend to visit it once or twice a month for supplies.

This is camera heaven. I can't visit Tokyo without coming here. It's got everything camera and more. Last time I was at Yodobashi I spent 3-4 hours trying every pair of headphones on the massive test wall with my own phone to try and find the best pair. I love this place!

The best furnished electronics store... of the world... might I dare add. You can find quite rare items there, example : "metabones" Sony alpha 7 camera body to canon lenses adapters IN STOCK at the store and for the regular price. Amongst all yodobashi electronic stores, this one is the best, amongst all the shops in akihabara, depending on what you are looking for, this one is certainly worth checking.

This one of the things you must visit on every trip to Tokyo. It's the hugest electronics store I've ever seen. They have almost anything on lots of different floors. On the top floor there are besides eletronics also lots of restaurants.

Probably the best electronic shop you can find in Tokyo or Japan. Many floors with lots of different products. If you want something, it is probably there. I have noticed that price are sometimes more expensive than other competitors but if you want to be able to see a specific item, you'll definitely find it there. Sometimes too much choice (yes, it's possible).
