So, every team has 2 drivers. Wait, no, 3? 4?! What does it mean to be a third driver in Formula 1?

"So each team has 2 drivers?" "Exactly" Most likely, at one point or another, we've all had to explain Formula 1 to a not yet enlightened friend, family member, or even parter. However (and I'm certainly guilty of this) 9/10 ...

If you could look into a crystal ball and for some reason asked about McLaren F1 instead of winning lottery numbers, what would you see? Is the once great British team doomed or is there light at the end of the tunnel?! 
The third most decorated constructor in the history of the sport is on the brink of reaching 19 years without a title. For perspective, 5 constructors have tasted victory in that 19 year span. Unless they make remarkable prog...

I think McLaren can recover its past glory though it may take a few seasons. It could begin next season with the new regulations. But they flounder in the mid-pack like Williams.
