Before you delve into the planning process for agricultural buildings you have to get the correct form and local authority - this new video shows you how to locate your local planning office and download prior notification forms to benefit from permitted development for farm buildings.

To see the video in higher resolution click the gear wheel symbol while the video is playing - and then select resolution -> 720P HD and then the expand button which looks like a broken rectangle on the lower right side.

Unit 16 Raleigh Hall -at last the brickies have finished the piers and a great job they have made of it! Now we can move on and finish the cladding to the front gable. This is going to be a very nice looking unit indeed with subtle brick shades working well with the uber efficient insulated cladding.

 Sloe-black, slow, black, crow-black.

Just thought I'd post this because I really liked the look of the black steelwork.  This is one of the rafters for a new riding arena  in Cheshire. We were asked by the client to paint the steelwork black, we've done all sorts of colours before but never black.  For us the customer is the boss and we toddled off and chose a corrosion resistant one coat semi gloss which looks great but which turned out to have  very poor covering power and we ended up using 200 litres of paint on the whole job.

Poor old Trev looked like a miner by the time he finished  but it turned out looking very very smart indeed.  I will post pictures of the finished arena when we have got onto site.
