“great stay” Unbeatable! Great property with superb service and staff. Location is perfect and highly recommend the bar and restaurant. Book early as this is a popular destination and rightfully so as five blocks to lake and on Michigan Avenue

Our hallway smelled like cigarette smoke. It made me feel ill. I told the front desk on our way out and they didn't seem to care. Our room was not spotlessly cleaned and dusted. It was Hampton Inn clean, not Park Hyatt clean. No one offered to take my suitcase when we entered the hotel. There was an employee outside who I thought might be the bellman, but he didn't offer to take my bag. It saved me a tip, but if I didn't want to tip I'd stay at Comfort Inn&suites. The view from our 8th floor room was forgettable. It was a standard room, no upgrade/suite, but it was easier on the eyes to leave our shades closed. The bed only had one sheet. I'm sure if I asked I would have received a top sheet for my bed. The bed was super comfortable. Really really nice. Great sleep. The pillows were great. Hotel pillows stink right? Not these. High quality goods.

I was in the downtown area for the Magnificent Mile Lights Festival. I stopped in the hotel to grab a drink before the parade started. The bartender was very polite and courteous. The drinks were very good, but pricey. I guess that's what you can expect from an establishment right off Michigan Ave. The hotel itself was very clean, and inviting. The staff was very attentive. I would recommend this hotel to people who are looking for a place to stay, close to the Mag Mile.

This hotel is located on a prime real estate next to the water tower on Michigan Ave which makes for a convenient location for everything. Rooms were spacious and luxurious with separate shower and bathtub with luxury soaps, lotions etc. The main restaurant Nomi is a great place to have gourmet food. The fitness center and the spa is a bit smallish but has everything that I needed. Service was phenomenal; everyone from the front desk personnel to housekeepers were very courteous and accommodating. One of my favorite hotels in Chicago.

We went for their Christmas buffet dinner. The food was pretty good but there could have been more variety. They did make my nephew bacon and French fries because it's all he wanted to eat.

Standard rooms are very nicely appointed. Large soaking tub, glass shower etc. Very large window with great view of Chicago, black out curtains are a nice addition. Staff are very friendly, convenient location.
