Great video! My comments:

1. Tab+Arrow should be used not only because it's better logically, but it's the WCAG recommendation. People need to be educated and start implementing the correct way.

2. ARIA is needed to support users of assistive technologies like screen readers.

3. Yes, great idea on the tooltip for the tab+arrow pattern.

Also, can simplify for devs by removing aria-hidden and aria-expanded attributes from the panel containers. Aria-hidden is not needed if hiding panel content correctly with the CSS (display:none). Aria-expanded is not needed because only one panel is shown at a time, and the tabs already have an aria-selected state on them.

Nice explanations. For the signup example, better to left-align the hint text to help screen magnifier users (and mobile).

Thanks for posting. I had similar results as it didn't work with Win7/IE11/JAWS 15. #a11y   #captcha

Thanks for posting. I was wondering how Google was going to track a mouse movement when someone doesn't use a mouse.

Great talk! One thing though, if the "web is meant for everyone", why are nearly all web designers and developers breaking web accessibility so badly?
