Stay a while, and read the Boston Globes completely craven position on SOPA:

http://articles.boston.com/2011-12-26/editorials/30555176_1_internet-piracy-anti-piracy-online-piracy

I'm shocked that a paper I once considered amongst the most thoughtful could come out in favor of such a deeply flawed piece of legislation.
FOR TOO long, the solution to Internet piracy has been to “round up the usual suspects.’’ While the US economy loses billions because of copyright infringement every year, it seems the only...

Anyone know of a good website scraper? One that downloads all the images and css files into one zipped file. I know they're out there but one does not come to mind at the moment.

Hey there, I'm Brett, and I'm an engineer here on the Google+ Circles team. We’ve
been hearing that you want a way to reorder your circles -- so when
you add people, view your stream, or share, that list of circles is in
the order that works for you. We thought it was a great idea, and today, we’re launching this on Google+.

Let me show you how it works. Go over to the Circles tab and down to your circles. Now you can move your circles wherever you want, just by clicking and dragging with the mouse. Plus, that order will now show up everywhere across Google+, even in the dropdown menu when you add people to circles.

I hope you like it. And as always, please keep letting us know what we
can do to make Google+ better for you.

Good to think about how this applies to good smart content curation and associated commentary.
I've been enjoying PandoDaily this week; kudos to Sarah Lacy. (Disclosure: I've enjoyed her chicken[1].) I am seriously impressed with how much great content they've produced in these first few days, and it only goes to prove just how wrong Jeremiah Owyang was three weeks ago when he declared the golden age of tech blogging over. Here's what I think is working for Pando: Simple site, simple launch. Yep, it's a blog. Reverse chron, nice author p...
