Well the 5:00AM ASA cutover was, unfortunately, unsuccessful.  All the things I was worried about were perfect, VPN tunneling, ANX connections, firewall rules, natting, the only issue was the DMZ couldn't get out to the Internet.  Back to the drawing board... maybe I'll enable proxy-arp.

So, in a rather upsetting development, the PS4 will not support media servers of any kinda, DLNA, external HDDs, MP3 playback and I'm assuming (like the PS3) MKV playback.  Which essentially makes the PS4 a closed media center.

Good thing I got my pi running OpenELEC now.

Before I built my HTPC I was using a PS3 to stream from a DLNA server. It wasn't even that bad, I'm surprised they're killing off this functionality.

It's hard to imagine I attended a seminar today about Windows XP EOL.  With the EOL of WinXP comes the EOL of WDM, goodbye back supporting for new hardware.  Seems like only yesterday I was migrating from XP to Win7.

I think I was misinterpreting EOL, but I was referring to this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_XP#Support_lifecycle

Wow, hey franco!  Cool that you found this.  There is another video of the final version.

Here it is:
Brocade - Barcade Concept custom build arcade

I did try hyperspin, but it wasn't really giving me what I wanted with a vertical cab.  And the front end was a little too "much" for the hardware I have in my Brocade.

Nice to hear from you!

With Sony moving more towards digital distribution, and the recent news of not allowing external HDDs wouldn't this cause issues when the average size of a PS4 game is 40gigs and the internal drive is only 500gigs?  12 Games installed at any time?  I have probably 100 games installed right now on my PC... am I crazy?

Good point.  This restriction essentially will kill digital distribution after a year or so.  I'd never be willing to re-download an old game after a year or so of disuse.

Tried to get a quote from these guys -- they didn't seem to want to provide an accurate quote for a simple residential install/service. Person seemed a little upset that I was even calling.
