Came here for their endless amount of whiskey's but ended up ordering two Pimm's cups! It was so refreshing and delicious. The mac n' cheese is divine and super good. We also tried the fried okra and asparagus. Both were OK. I would come back to try the chicken and pig cracklings. I would also recommend calling in for a reservation as this place is not big at all. It frees up quickly and we came in after work on a Friday. Until next time!

This is a good spot to bring a date or friend that appreciates his or her whiskey. The food is fine but a bit overpriced, you should be coming here for the alcohol. Go at night so you don't watch all the tourists flock by, and take a walk by the water after a drink and appreciate the lights of the city and the Bay Bridge. It is recommended you stay classy here.

Yum, and I don't even love whiskey. Their menu is expansive and they were kind enough to make me a vodka drink. :p The beautiful wall of bottles makes the dim lighting bounce. Only complaint is that the big rectangle room doesn't have a bathroom. However there is one not far outside for the complex. Nice place when hopping around the embarcadero.

Whiskey + bay + Southern food. This place knows how to rock the Louisiana vibe. Although it's pretty small on the inside, it does a good job of managing the space well, with a few tables around the the corners for privacy and a bustling bar. The servers are very nice and accommodated all my requests (and I had a lot of them) without complaining. Bartenders were a little slow, but I went in on a Friday night so I expected as much. Their Sazerac (it's called something else on the menu, but essentially the same drink) is one the best I've ever had. I would again just to drink that all night, which also what I did. Food here is incredible - oysters are fantastic, as is the gumbo. The MUST-HAVE is the flounder with grits. Being a Southern girl, I already love grits, and Hard Water took it to another level here with the fish - it was so good we ordered another one! Dessert is good - fried butterscotch pies, but I wish they had been piping hot. If it's fried, I want it to be as fresh as possible. Temperature aside, the butterscotch flavor was excellent and I would have still ordered another one had I not been so full. This place is expensive, so be prepared and you will love it - I want to come in and try their new lunch menu too!

Definitely a spot for bourbon lovers! This is a great place to go if you enjoy sampling a wide variety of bourbon whiskey. They offer a diverse and expansive menu of classic, hard to find and impossible to find bourbons for your enjoyment in 1oz or 2oz pours. In addition, there is a fantastic whiskey flight menu that allows you to try a variety of similar aged bourbons. After you've had a chance to wet your whistle the fried chicken is fantastic. Oysters are outstanding way to connect to the local waters in the nearby Embarcadero as well. Enjoy!

How can you go wrong with a place that has a wall full of whiskeys?? You can't.

What a great bourbon and whiskey bar on the water. They have a few seats outside and the seating is limited indoors. They have an extensive list of drinks based around bourbon and whiskey. Don't worry, they have other drinks. Having lived in Louisville, KY, I tried the Mint Julep. It was really good and served in a pewter cup. Definitely a place to grab a specialty cocktail after work or while visiting the Embarcadero.

Hard Water is hopping for after work drinks. Predominantly a whiskey bar, they make a surprisingly good Tom Collins. Cocktails are nicely done and beautifully presented. Snag a seat outside for sunshine and fresh air.
