Yesterday (Friday after work) I had great service at the bar by a young lady. I believe her name was Katie. The peppercorn blue cheese burger and onion rings were great. The Raspberry Red beer is not to my liking. The beer started fine but had a bitter finish. But I got to watch a bit of the news, which I never have time for. All the prices were fair. Bar top was clean. Parking was easy at that time of day, roughly 6 pm-ish.

Extremely friendly and compensating staff. I ordered the GBLT, it came without bacon and was also a cold sandwich, which I wasnt expecting. I told the waitress and they special made me the sandwich I thought the menu described (I did not request this) and gave me a bowl of beer cheese soup while I was waiting. (Beer cheese soup was excellent by the way) The atmosphere isnt great but I would go back just because the staff was so amazing.

The food is awesome, the beer is fresh and refreshing. All kinds of different beers to choose from so if you don't like one kind try another! I like the Pilsner. It's light and fresh and goes down smooth. They have incredible bands that play there, and the owners are super friendly. The wait staff checked on our food quality while we were eating but stayed out of our way when we were talking The prices can't be beat, only a buck a beer during happy hour. It's right in downtown Littleton and has 10 times the space the other Littleton bars have. The Old Mill is a family friendly corner bar with great food and that "corner bar" experience. You have to try it.

I have come here several times, primarily for lunch and I think they do a decent job. I have seen the bad reviews, but still had some Groupons to use, so... I went for lunch today and had a Fire House burger with fries and a side salad. The burger was excellent - a thick handmade patty, not a lame frozen one. The fries were great too. My side salad was fine. They also have good entree salads if you are more into a healthier option. I have never tried their beer, so I cannot comment on it. The server was very friendly. I did not happen to see the owner, or son, or brewmaster that many of the other reviewers mentioned, so I cannot comment on the toxic environment they have described, except to say that I found it to be a relaxing place for lunch.

I don't know if ownership has changed or what, but I don't get the bad reviews. I went here while visiting with my friends and was pleasantly surprised. Staff was attentive and helpful with recommendations, in particular the bartender, beer was really good and how beer should taste, with a perfect head. I will definitely come by again next time I come out to Colorado.

The last two times I have been to this bar the staff has been absolutely trashed with the exception of one female bartender (same one both times). She was super nice and very pleasant to chat with. However the rest of the staff was loud, used excessive profanity (in front of customers) and took multiple shots of top shelf alcohol. My friend even got a free shot from one of the drunken bartenders/wait staff. Employees kept coming in and out of the back door and each time they did the bar would fill with the smell of smoke and pot. The beers brewed here are pretty decent, my fave was an apricot one. I refuse to return until management changes and the food improves. I ate here once and they were out of some appetizer foods and the amount of grease on the food was insane. I will keep as many friends from coming here as I can. Spread the word folks, this bar with the drunken bartenders are dangerous, no sense of responsibility. Stay away!

I used to come here quite often the beer used to be pretty good and the service was great. All of the servers that kept the restaurant lively and in good order have since left due to poor management. The beer is no good, even for a $1 happy hour price. The food is the only thing keeping this place alive. The cook is over worked and the wait staff just doesn't care about anything (especially quality service) I gave them one final chance tonight to possibly keep my patronage for buy one get one free burgers. The waitress dropped both burgers on the way out of the kitchen after a 30 minute wait for our food, with 8 other people in the restaurant. When we finally got to eat and got our tab well over an hour and a half later she was nice enough to comp the couple of $1 beers we ordered and couldn't even bring ourselves to finish. This place is a joke, if you are looking for a place that knows nothing about good service and has false advertisement throughout their restaurant you should eat at the old mill! I will never spend another dollar in that establishment even though the owner is a very nice guy it's just not worth your money.

This place used to be great. However the service is now spotty at best, the food mediocre, and the beer is just awful. I won't be returning.
