My girl took me to Tinto a little while ago. Everything on the menu looked delicious so we decided on ordering the tasting. It was delicious and we really enjoyed it. The service was great and so was the ambiance.

Good food but awful service! The arrogant attitude of the waiter with beard and ponytail with black hair killed our excitement about the restaurant. I would not take my family to this restaurant again, not a good place for a date either. Fix your attitude problem or continue losing customers.

My husband and I came across Tinto as we were leaving Village Whiskey because it was too crowded and had no seating for dining. Reluctantly, we entered Tinto next door. I initially thought the prices were a little much for the "small plates" but was pleasantly surprised by the excellent food and wine. WOW! The food was delicious! I experienced foods that I never had before, which was a nice adventure. The service was great - our Server was very attentive and made several recommendations. A good time was had, all in all, but, still a bit pricey.

Terrible service! I took my family to this restaurant on a trip from New York to Philly. While the food was good the stupid negative attitude of the waiter with beard and ponytail ruined the entire experience. This waiter is killing your business.

Great Tapas and wine menu, even by the glass. Sat at the bar so can't vouch for table service. As close to Spain as you can get (and I mean in terms of taste and wine selection). My new go to when in Philly!

Awesome place. The bartenders were very helpful regarding the different types of drinks on the menu. Go for the tasting menu.

The food is pretty good if a bit salty... Also there's less options if you're vegetarian. That said its really good, a little off the beaten path relative to standard tapas. Good wine pairings.

Wonderful food. Horrible, awful service: both the server and the bartender were unpleasant. They had extremely rude attitudes, and were very passive aggressive bordering on confrontational. If previous raters claimed good service, they must have hired new staff recently, more specifically, bad staff. I went with a large group for a friends birthday. Every time we asked our server a question, he ALWAYS replied in a snarky, condescending tone. We made a reservation well in advanced but you could tell he couldn't wait to get us out of there. I baked a cake for the bday boy and I asked the bartender for a lighter. The bar was basically empty and he was not busy at all. He said he didn't have a lighter and when I politely asked him to get me one, he just glared at me and repeated that he didn't have a lighter. There are dozens of candles at every table, obviously there were many lighters in the restaurant but he refused to do a simple favor. By the way, the restaurant wanted to charge me 5$ per person in my party as a "plating" fee for my home made cake (we had spent 400$!! On food and drinks, they couldn't spare a few extra plates?) Ultimately, the food was delicious, the chef was great, but I wouldn't return because the service was unacceptable. One last piece of advice, if you do end up going, don't order the scallops, they were over salted.
