I've been researching different ways to do fabric flower bouquets for a while now, and yours is my favorite. Thanks for such a well made tutorial!

One question - on average for the bouquets how many flowers did you need? I'm assuming your bridal bouquet was more by the look of it. How many yards of fabric did you get? It looks like you went to sales bin for swatches which is brilliant.

Thanks!

I wish I went to sales bins but I didn't.  Those were all scraps from my original project.  For my bouquet, I made about 20-25 flowers (assorted sizes).  As far as yardage...I'm terrible with that stuff.  1 yard makes about 4 flowers....but it all depends on the size and how many layers you want :D  I'm so glad you enjoyed the tutorial!!  I have a part 2 "Bouquet assembly" coming soon!

Jon Stewart  - You will be missed. For 15 of my 28 years, he's who I trusted to ask the hard questions, to poke at the stuff that pisses me off and still make me laugh. Thank you.

I had no idea that dogs were trained for this. After watching the video, it makes complete sense. Dogs are already well suited to the task.

The best honoring I've seen of Nelson Mandela. This little girl is what he fought for, she and all our future generations are what we stand for when step up and be long-sighted with our actions. Thank you.

If you haven't watched this, watch it now. Also in case you didn't know the Patriot Act is up for Reauthorization on June 1. Please contact your representatives in Congress, and let them know how you feel. Make sure everyone you knows this so they too can make an informed decision on what lines government surveillance is allowed to cross. If you don't know what they are allowed and not allowed to do - watch the video.

Here's an articulate, thoughtful woman I can stand with. Please read and share this story. Thank you, the only way we can change such unconscious social beliefs is naming them, and discussing them.

Last October, I came here as part of a bridal party. While there was a little confusion that was due to bridal part members changing their minds. it was awesome. I loved my nails, and everyone's hair looked great. They were nice, and listened well. I'll definitely go again.

The room is clean. The bathroom is tiny, and the room is designed badly since there's plenty of empty space they could have used for enough clearance to open and close the door without taking out someone's knees on the toilet. To add to that joy, you pay for internet - 9.95 per day. How is it places that charge a 1/3 that they do here can afford free wifi, while here they charge? It's not as if there's other amazing benefits to balance that out. We will not be staying here again unless forced to by work. We'll be informing our workplace of these issues as well so they choose a better location for future conferences.

Not only is the pizza here superb, but the friendly service is some of the best I've ever received. This is my favorite KC pizza spot.

I love it here. In fact, it's one of my family's favorite places to go. The food is excellent, the staff funny and great, and the atmosphere just makes you drop your shoulders and sigh because you are home. Greg and Sandy are great, and you can tell they are passionate as are their staff about taking the best care of everyone who walks in. We stop in at least once a week since finding this place. It's great if you just want to sit and soak in the atmosphere or for a little birthday brunch or dinner, or just want to sit back and listen to great live music and have a beer. You can do all of that. Sandy and the staff make really yummy food. You will leave satisfied, relaxed, and a little sad to go. If you're like me, you'll probably be one of the last to leave too.
