Another absolutely awesome IPA - Titan IPA by Great Divide Brewing. Must love hops.

7.1%, and a kick in the teeth of hops that stays with you.

Widmer Brothers O'Ryely IPA. Exemplary of the rye IPA style. And a steal at only $7.50/6 around here. Great hops, spicy rye. Light on the palette with a slightly clingy aftertaste. 6.4% and well balanced.

Victory Brewing's - Storm King Russian Imperial Stout is a champion of the style.

Dark, roasted malt flavor with an espresso aftertaste.

Highly recommended. Runs about $10.99/6 around here.

I wanted a cable line run to my finished basement. Verizon says "Great! Be there Wednesday."

Chuck-in-a-Truck gets here and says "Naw can't do that, bud. Basement's finished." Thanks for nothing Verizon.

So I go to Lowes and get about $30 worth of stuff and did it myself in less than an hour. Save for the two holes in my drywall from fishing the cable - which I doubt Chuck would have patched anyway - it's done and all working.

All Chuck did was leave the box and look at me like he expected a tip.

So - why not, Verizon?

Yes. But it's not like they're running fiber. Just coax.

Great session of Lagunitas Sucks Holiday Ale has been quite good. Very unique pine/citrus hoppy flavors. Well balanced 7.8% ABV and not too sweet at all for an American Double/Imperial IPA.

Highly recommended especially at a reasonable price.

Giant next to G had it in 22's. Can't recall the price - probably what you'd expect for premium beer at a grocery store.

My NetFlix Streaming wishlist:
- An easy to use parental control on NetFlix-enabled devices
- An easy way to switch between "profiles" so my kids could have their own.
- A better selection of vids, even if it was pay-per-stream.

Flying Dog's Snake Dog IPA just might displace Red Hook's Longhammer IPA as my go-to "grocery store" IPA. You can get it almost anywhere - $6.99/6 at Target.

Nicely hoppy. 60 IBU. And a smooth 7.1% ABV.
