It's amazing to me how hard it is to BREATHE like this.... I tend to be a stress cadet, so this part of yoga is essential for me. I revert to very shallow breathing, which causes all kinds of issues. Thanks for this post! I'm looking forward to reading more through the A to Z challenge. And thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting!

You go, Tanee!!!!! It's hard to make yourself a priority as a mom. Just keep after it! I know you aren't gonna quit and will find a way to make taking care of you work in this season of your life.

Thank you for sharing this- I'm on the journey of finding a new balance of self-care while still caring for my family. It's so hard to watch other moms around me sacrifice their health (mental and physical) in the name of family because they think it is somehow wrong to put themselves first in any way... the oxygen mask example is very appropriate.
